Maendeleo Agric LLC is a Revolution in Agriculture. We started Maendeleo Agric to deliver the innovative greenhouse and irrigation systems developed by EAC and currently used in China to the rest of the world. EAC R&D combined modern technologies used in the top agricultural producing nations with local Chinese solar greenhouses and was able to develop Hi-Tech, Low Cost greenhouse and irrigation solutions that are of the highest quality but at Chinese prices.
In an effort to alleviate food security, environmental and unemployment concerns through better farming, Maendeleo Agric uses Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) solutions and establishes model farms using EnviroDome greenhouses and CEA techniques. Each farm will produce high-end horticulture and act as a retail outlet and knowledge center to spread the technology and knowledge to other farmers. Our Hi-tech, Low-Cost approach makes what was once a a solely European purview available to the world.
Our aim is to prove that highly productive greenhouse farming can be accomplished anywhere at an affordable price.
Maendeleo Agric is majority owned and operated by Maendeleo Ventures Qatar, LLC. Maendeleo Agric is the sole global marketing and sales arm of EAC, the creator and manufacturer of the EnviroDome™ greenhouse system. EAC’s expertise and their ability to provide “European quality” technology solutions from a Chinese company and thus at Chinese prices enable us to create sustainable farming solutions for every kind of farmer and in any environment.
Maendeleo Agric is based out of Qatar and is a Qatari company. We want to bring EAC’s revolutionary technology to where it is needed most – the Middle East. Our first demonstration greenhouses are being built on a Qatari farm in Um Salal Ali in September 2011.
