Maendeleo Ventures Qatar (MVQ)

Maendeleo Ventures Qatar (MVQ) & Maendeleo Ventures, LLC (USA) - Do Some Good

Maendeleo Ventures, LLC is a US company established in 2009. Maendeleo Ventures Qatar or MVQ is a Qatari national company located in Doha, Qatar and established in 2010. Both companies have shared ownership and legal ties. Our headquarters and primary base of operations are out of Doha, Qatar from which we manage our local and global operations. We choose Doha as our primary base of operations for its natural advantages like location, international workforce, an emphasis on technology and development, rapid economic development and the ability to act as an incubator market for business solutions that can then be expanded to other emerging markets.

As an Impact Venture Firm, Maendeleo Ventures follows a bottom-up strategy, identifying high growth opportunities that will spur sustainable economic growth. Our value building strategy is based on developing strong incentives to invest in the future. Thus we offer solid management practices that focus on communication, transparency, and ownership, and we develop reward systems that align incentives and focus on building long-term value. Additionally, we emphasize innovation and look for operational, business and technology strategies that are sensible yet innovative, emphasizing the 80-20 return. Though most of our work is in emerging markets because of the opportunities they offer, we do not limit ourselves geographically. We understand innovation and opportunity is needed everywhere.
